Isabella Thaller is a Austrian graphic designer and art director. After having worked for many different top design studios and as a freelance designer at London and Berlin, Isabella currently runs her own Vienna-based studio.
With a focus on brand identity and print, she also creates visual communication across various media, from conception to manufacturing. Working together with customers of all sizes and from diverse sectors, both locally and internationally, she’s encouraged by a network of talented suppliers and collaborators. Her objective is to catch the essence of a new or venture and allow it to be visible for the audience.
For her job Voyage, Thaller travelled the whole world. She explains: “When we immerse ourselves in international environments we gain new impressions and often carry on an observing role — even more so if travelling alone.
“I seized such minutes when travelling round the world for 2 months. The outcome is a novel with roughly 90 photos from nine states that I’ve seen in this trip. Printed on an Indigo Press on Mohawk Superfine uncoated, the images display brilliance while keeping their natural style. The book’s screen printed greyboard cover and open stitch binding add to this natural feeling.”
