Meghan | Hershey High School | Central PA Senior Photographer

Among my absolute preferred things is visiting my seniors simplicity in their sessions and open as we go along.

Meghan booked our Style Editorial Session past summer, which meant that she got five outfits and two locations included in her session. That enabled for her for some shots which showcased her edgy side-by-side Harrisburg before we hopped in the car and headed to the farm that’s been in her family for years and also years and years for those sentimental photographs that mom was dying for.   (Talking of mother’s, my senior’s mothers are a whole other level of awesome.   Meghan’s mom wasn’t just a killer side kick bringing Meghan’s outfits and jewelry all impeccably coordinated, but she also packed a whole cooler filled with drinks and brewed coffee and snacks for us to snack on throughout the take.)

Meghan is a really talented artist and I was thrilled when she said during her consultation that she wanted to integrate a large self picture she’d painted on canvas into her shoot. I wish I’d turned into a Behind-the-Scene shoot of that as we cut on the huge canvas to a piece of edging I’ve and her aunt and mom stood in their tippy toes holding this up in the backdrop. ha ha ha. Her family property had no shortage of amazing locations to shoot & I may or may not have almost peed my pants if we pulled , and unbeknownst to me there was a small, outdated greenhouse next to the farmhouse.   My grandparents…making my fantasies come true in more ways than one.

We shot before the sunlight which enabled us to play around with some slow shutter and off camera light. The slow portrait pictures are Somewhat spooky and distinct for me personally, but they were perfect for Meghan and her love of art.   Scroll on through and enjoy some of my favorites!
